The BADIC Audit
How This Works
Most companies say they're "using AI." Few have actually mapped where they're getting real value — and where they're leaving it on the table.
The BADIC Framework breaks down the five ways businesses are actually applying AI right now:
- B — Build: Using AI to write, debug, and ship code and software
- A — Automate: Replacing repetitive workflows across ops, admin, and customer contact
- D — Decide: Feeding data into AI to surface insights and inform decisions
- I — Interface: AI as the customer-facing or internal-facing layer
- C — Create: Generating marketing content, ad creative, copy, and media
For each bucket, you'll answer 6 diagnostic questions and get a score. Your results tell you which buckets you're underusing — and exactly what to do first.
Step 1: Identify Your Company Type
Your company type determines which first-move recommendations you'll see at the end. Pick the one that fits closest.
- 🧑💻 Solo / Freelancer / Creator — You're running this mostly yourself. Maybe a contractor or two.
- 🏢 Service Business — Agency, consultancy, local/home service business, real estate, law firm.
- 🚀 Tech Startup / SaaS — You have developers. You're building a product.
- 🏗️ Mid-Market Company — 50–500 people. Multiple departments. Probably some bureaucracy.
Write your type at the top before you start, or select it in the quiz. It won't change your questions — only your results.
